TRANSPARENCY BOX POLICY (TBP)
Policy Name:
“The Glass of Truth: A Transparent Alternative to Prison”
Summary:
Any public official, corporate actor, or consultant caught engaging in:
Bribery
Lobbyist collusion
Lying to the public
Suppressing facts
Environmental harm
Any act violating the Joy or Truth Codes
…shall not be sent to prison.
Instead, they shall be placed in the Glass Box of Shame,
located directly outside Parliament.
What Is the Glass Box?
A fully transparent soundproof box, made of recycled glass and accountability.
Equipped with a comfy chair, a visible plaque of their violation, and a small fan (we’re not cruel).
Open to public viewing 7 days a week.
Guided school tours welcome.
Community Response Tools:
Nearby stand offers organic tomatoes grown from soil tainted by the very policies these figures enabled.
Public may throw tomatoes at the glass (no contact, just catharsis).
QR codes allow citizens to read the case file and vote on rehabilitation options:
Public apology?
Volunteer work?
DJ a community event in a silly hat?
Educational Purpose:
School groups can visit and learn what happens when you break the public’s trust.
Children will be encouraged to ask,
“Why is that man behind glass?”
And be answered:
“Because he pretended his policies were for the people, but they were actually for profit.”
Philosophical Justification:
We don’t want revenge. We want radical honesty.
The glass box is not punishment — it’s a mirror.
A portal where power is made visible, accountable, and silly.
Because no one should be above the truth.
Especially not in a suit.
Status:
IN DRAFT — Open for public commentary via magic scroll or social media poll.
